May I return my order if I’m not satisfied with it? How to return my products?

At Baobab Collection, we hope that you will be delighted with your order. However, if you are not completely satisfied, you may return your product(s) by following the instructions listed below.

We will refund unopened, unused merchandise within fourteen (14) days of receiving your purchase, accompanied by a sales receipt.

Your item MUST be unopened, unused, in resalable condition, with the original packaging and packing slip in order to receive the refund amount of your original payment less shipping charges as customers are responsible for all return shipping charges.

For candles the ribbon must be in its original place in the box tied and wrapped around the candle. All products must be wrapped securely in the same outer packaging in which you received them.

Damaged Merchandise

Please inspect your order carefully when you receive it. All of our products are thoroughly inspected and carefully packaged before they are shipped.

In the event of damage during shipping, please contact our customer service immediately at onlinesales@baoababcollection.us or within 48 hours of receiving your purchase. DO NOT discard the damaged product prior to contacting us. Please include your order number and the name of the item that was damaged. When you contact our customer service they will ask you for pictures of your damaged product(s), the packing slip and the box. Depending on the item our customer service may ask you to return the damaged product. Upon receipt of this information we will send you a replacement. They will be no refund on damaged products.

Gift Merchandise

If you received the item as a gift (paid for by someone other than yourself) it can ONLY be returned for a store credit. Your item MUST be unopened, unused and in resalable condition, with the original packaging and sales invoice.

Merchandise Purchased at 3rd Party Retailers

We cannot accept returns or exchanges of items purchased through 3rd party retailer. All items MUST be returned or exchanged through the 3rd party directly and are subject to 3rd party's return policies.

Return Processing
Please follow the steps below to return your products:
1. Log onto your account, and proceed to the “Order History” page.
2. Select the order that you’d like to return, click on the items you’d like to return, and describe your reason for return in the “Comments” section. Select the “Create a return slip” to confirm your request.
3. As soon as we have approved your request, you will receive an email entitled “Awaiting return package.”
4. Print the return slip and place it inside the shipping box.
5. Make sure that the product is in its original packaging and condition. Carefully package the items in the original shipping box or any suitable shipping carton using plenty of padding material to protect the product(s) wrapped securely in the same outer packaging in which you received them and include a copy of your invoice.
6. Ship your package with your preferred shipping carrier.
Please note: Make sure the items are well protected and packaged similar to the way you received them. Whenever possible, use the same packaging that was used to ship the items to you. Items will be examined to determine if the product is in resalable condition to apply for a refund. Any items damaged in shipment of a return will not be refunded.

Refund Processing
Once we receive your Return package, we will issue you a refund for the price of the products you returned (including tax, if any). Shipping is not refundable. If you paid by credit card, we will charge-back the amount to your credit card. If you are returning an item because it arrived damaged, we will also refund you the shipping costs to return the item to us.
Please note: Refunds must be made to the credit card that was used to make the purchase; we cannot make a refund to another credit card. Please allow up to 21 days for us to receive and process your refund. It may take one or two billing cycles until the credit appears on your bank statement. Time depends on the policies and procedures set by your credit card company.
