The city of Miami is emerging in 1844 with investments made by Julia Turtlle, William Rigel and Henri Flager who will later extend the Florida railroad to Miami. As the city quickly becomes a trendy seaside destination, the 1920s mark the height of the city’s popularity, far from prohibition, with a number of buildings now considered iconic.
